The program of foundation and development in Ukraine of holographic protective elements production.

Since 2000 the Commercial Industrial Bank purposively stands on its strategy of foreground financial support of real sector of the economy as creditor and investor, investing monetary funds into development of research-and-production potential of the country, particularly, into foundation of knowledge-intensive production with high technology implementation.

 In its investment policy the Bank is oriented on the completion of its own investment projects on foundation of objects with top market potential, occupied the unique market niche, that allows to point them (these objects) out into all-sufficient business.

One of most successful business-projects realized by the Bank during 2000-2003 is the project of foundation of domestic manufacture of holographic elements for protection of documents, goods, services on the basis of scientific researches of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the field of holography.

 Following its realization on the initiative of the government of Ukraine and with participation of the International center “Institute of Applied Optics” of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Specialized Enterprise “Holography” has been founded and is at successful work.

The direction of the enterprise activity is development and manufacturing of holographic protective elements (HPE) for protection against counterfeiting of securities forms, documents, payment cards, trade marks, holographic elements for advertising and presentation purposes, art holograms on glass; supply to Ukraine of wide range holographic foil.

Creation of such kind of business in Ukraine encourages the present day civilized solution for the protection against counterfeiting of various goods, securities, excise duty stamps, banknotes, and so promotes the national economy development, consolidation of the authority of our country in the world and its integration into All-European and world economic space.

For short time of its activity the enterprise has occupied the leading position in its business sector not only in our country, but in the world.

Today the specialized enterprise “Holography” is the single enterprise in Ukraine, which has complete set of modern high technology equipment for holograms production, has total cycle of production of holographic protective elements and is able to perform an order of any level of complexity.

This is the first Ukrainian enterprise which performs governmental orders on HPE manufacturing. The Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ministries and departments, other public and commercial structures in Ukraine, as well as in Byelorussia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates and other countries are among the customers of the enterprise on protective holographic production.

Leading staff of the enterprise includes the experienced specialists of higher qualification of the International center “Institute of Applied Optics” of NAS of Ukraine.

Quality control system of the specialized enterprise “Holography” meets with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001:2000, is certified in the Bureau Veritas Quality International and Ukrainian system UkrSEPRO.

 Specialized Enterprise «Holography» is a full member of International Hologram Manufacturers Association (IHMA), International Society of Optical Engineering (SPIE), as well as Bureau of Forgery Investigation at International Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
