COMINBANK joined the Charter on Financial Inclusion and Reintegration of Veterans
JSC "COMINBANK" joined the Charter on Financial Inclusion and Reintegration of Veterans, which was initiated by the National Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development under a joint Memorandum of Understanding.

"The Charter is an effective tool that will unite banks around the issue of helping veterans and their families. It is a sign of equality that should stand between the opportunities of civilians and veterans. I am convinced that together with the EBRD and the entire banking system, we will be able to effectively promote the availability and barrier-free access to financial services for all citizens," commented NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyi.

Under this charter, COMINBANK is committed to supporting the reintegration of war veterans into civilian life and protecting their access to employment, entrepreneurship, finance and other economic opportunities, contributing to a sustainable and inclusive financial sector in Ukraine.

The Memorandum between the NBU and the EBRD envisages cooperation between the institutions to ensure financial sector cohesion in the implementation of standards for inclusive activities and services, support and re-socialisation of war veterans in Ukraine. The standards set out in the Charter are designed to make banks more accessible to hundreds of thousands of veterans, both as customers and employees.

The Charter contains best practices and offers a common approach for the entire sector to transform financial institutions into more inclusive and accessible financial service providers and employers.

COMINBANK is already strengthening inclusive education and strongly supports a culture of respect for veterans and their experience.
